The results of the May 2013 CPA Board Exam was released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. A total of 5,665 examinees took the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination held last May 19, 2013.

According to the PRC, there were 1,553 examinees who passed the CPA Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

Navy Dolphins Rare Torpedo: 130-Year-Old Torpedo Found Off San Diego (Video)

A 130-year-old torpedo was discovered by a US Navy-trained dolphin near the Hotel del Coronado off the coast of San Diego.

The self-propelled Howell torpedo was found last March by a bottlenose dolphin named Ten and was confirmed by another dolphin named Spetz.

Christian Harris, operations manager with the Navy Marine Mammal Program, explained that "A diver went down and began to sweep the dust and debris off, and they realized that they had found something significant. Subsequently, it was recovered, and that’s when the light went on that what the dolphins had discovered was a really old marine artifact."

The Navy however cannot explain how and why the torpedo was stucked in the waters off San Diego.

These torpedoes were reportedly named after its inventor, Lt. Cmdr. John A. Howell.

US Navy battleships and torpedo boats were reportedly armed with these Howell torpedoes from 1870 to 1889.

A Howell torpedo measures about 11 feet long and uses a 132-pound flywheel to propel itself up to 400 yards at a speed of 25 knots.

Dog found on live TV by Moore, Oklahoma resident (Video)

The owner of a dog found his pet on live TV while it was in the rubble of her home after the huge tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma.

Barbara Garcia explained that she was with her Scottish Terrier when the tornado hit their home. When the destructive twister subsided, she found herself under the rubbles of her home without the dog.

According to Garcia,

[The house] was there, and it was gone.... I had some stuff on top of me and I started wigglin.

I hollered for my little dog, and, he didn't answer. He didn't come.

So, I know he's in here somewhere.

She was unsure if the dog was alive while she was being interviewed by KWTV News 9 reporter Anna Werner.

While Werner and Garcia are talking, the dog suddenly sticks his head out of the debris.

The two joined hands in taking the dog out of the rubble.

Garcia said that she "thought that God had just answered one prayer, to let me be OK. But he answered both of them."

China Sinkhole 2013: 10-Meter Sinkhole Swallows Five in Shenzhen (Photo)

After several reported sinkholes in different states in the US recently, the incident shifted to China on Monday evening.

At least five people reportedly died after being gobbled-up by a huge, 33-foot sinkhole in Shenzhen, a highly industrialized area in southern China.

The Shenzhen sinkhole, estimated to be 10-meters wide, opened up in front of the Huamao Industrial Park.

Information about the China sinkhole was initially published on China's Twitter-like social network, Sina Weibo.

Reports say that the sinkhole opened up during the time that workers are about to make a night-shift.

As of posting, no definite number was provided on how many people fell into the sinkhole.

A report by Shanghai Daily newspaper said that a man was saved by rescuers.

Rescue operations is still ongoing as of Tuesday and no deadline has been set for the activity.

These sinkholes in China is usually caused by construction works brought about by the rapid development around the country.

Last March, another sinkhole was captured by surveillance cameras also in Shenzhen.

Just the other day, a sinkhole reportedly opened up in New Jersey.

19-Foot Python Killed: Longest Python in Miami, Florida Trends

A 19-foot python was killed by a resident of Miami-Dade County, Florida last May 11, 2013. The Burmese Python made the headlines due to its enormous size. 

The 19-foot python, killed by Jason Leon, was reportedly the longest snake ever killed in the Florida state. Leon was driving when he saw the python hiding in the bush. Leon killed the python with a knife.

Yahoo News reported that the python measures about 18 feet, 8 inches long and weighs about 128 pounds. The usual average length of snakes in Florida is about 6 to 9 feet long.

Will was very enthusiastic with his act and was in no way bothered by the presence of other people around.

The anchor later asked Sims to have a duet with his wife, Monifa but refused to sing with her. "Nah, I’ll leave her in there,” Will said.

Monifa went out of the car and gave in to Leno's request. She sang "Sweet Dreams" beautifully.

A giant yellow rubber duck started floating in the busy Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong on Thursday, May 4, 2013. The free public art will be on display at the harbor until June 9.

When inflated, the giant rubber duck reportedly reaches a height of 16.5 meters (54 feet). It was designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.

The giant art display was a welcome addition in the Hong Kong harbor and has attracted thousands of visitors in the area. It added a good view alongside the city skyline.

This giant rubber duck has floated in several cities around the world. It was previously displayed in the waters of Osaka, Sydney, Sao Paolo and Amsterdam.
