With less than a month from its official release, Apple followed up iOS 7 with a security patch. The Cupertino technology company has just released its latest update, iOS 7.0.2.

According to Apple, iOS 7.0.2 fixes bugs that can allow anyone to bypass the Lock screen passcode. Secondly, the latest iOS updates let's users use a Greek keyboard for a passcode entry.

How to download iOS 7.0.2?

  • On your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, tap on Settings.
  • Tap on General,
  • Tap on Software Upgrade,
  • Tap on Download and Install,
  • Just wait as Apple will do the rest.

note: Your device will restart once and you're ready to go.

Apple's latest mobile operating system, iOS 7, will be available for download today, September 18, 2013.

Millions of iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users are expected to download iOS 7 which promises a lot  of features. iOS 7 is reportedly compatible with the following devices:
  • iPhone - 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 5C
  • iPad - 2, 3 and mini,
  • iPod touch - 5th generation 16GB, 32GB, 64GB
  • iPad 2
  • iPad with Retina display
  • iPad mini

Mobile users of Apple products can update to the newest and most advanced mobile operating system by going through their device's Settings->General->Software Update. The device will automatically search for the download site over-the-air.

For a more reliable upgrade to iOS 7, Apple mobile users are advised to plug their device to a power supply throughout the whole process of downloading and updating. Use WiFi rather than Cellular for a more stable connection.
