Typhoon Nando: PAGASA Weather Forecast Rainy National Heroes' Day 2013

MANILA, Philippines - Typhoon Nando is the latest tropical depression to enter the Philippines, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The 2013 National Heroes' Day on Monday, August 26 is expected to be rainy.

According to the latest PAGASA weather forecast issued at 5:00 p.m. today, August 25, 2013 indicated that Typhoon Nando was spotted at 250 km East of Borongan City.

Typhoon Nando has turned into a tropical depression on Sunday with moving North to Northwest at 13 kph with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center.

PAGASA weather bulletin forecast Typhoon Nando to bring heavy rainshowers in Eastern Visayas and Bicol Region.

Residents in affected areas are advised to be alert on flash floods and landslides.

Light to moderate rainshowers is expected to be experienced in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.
