The 19-year-old Amge, native of Nagpur, India, appeared insidethe 86th floor observation deck of the Empire State Building.

Amge's small size is caused by her medical condition called achondroplasia, that usually cause dwarfism. She also has brittle bones that may need to be taken cared of during her entire life.\

Pauline Musters from Ossendrecht, Netherlands still holds the Guinness world record as the smallest woman in the world to have ever lived. She was born in February 26, 1876 and Guinness listed her height at 1 foot and 11.2 inches.

A 727-pound alligator was caught by a hunter in the Mississippi River near the Big Black River in Claiborne County, on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

The record-breaking alligator was snatched by Dustin Bockman, a UPS driver from Vicksburg. His alligator catch was one of several records established during the first weekend of the Alligator Hunting season in Mississippi.

Earlier in the day, Beth Trammell set the first record with a 13-foot-5.5-inch, 723.5-pound alligator catch. Her record did not last long as Bockman snare a 13-foot-4.5-inch, 727-pound alligator.

According to Bockman, the alligator "broke all the lines we could put in him. Finally [we] put a snare on him and got him up high enough and put a shot on him. All in all probably took us four and a half hours to catch him from the first time we saw him."

A two-toned lobster was caught off Maine by Jeff Edwards of Owl’s Head while a blue lobster was netted off Cape Cod in Massachusetts by Ben Hogan on Thursday, August 30, 2013. The two-toned lobster was reportedly colored orange and brown.

The extraordinary lobsters were believed to be just one in two million for the blue and one in 50 million for the two-toned specie.

According to Gulf of Maine Research Institute's Alan Lishness, the rare colored lobsters "looked as if someone had taken painter’s tape and run it from proboscis to tail, then spray-painted one side. It’s a perfectly straight line. You don’t usually see such hard edges in nature.”

American lobsters are usually colored brownish-green.

Experts say that the unusual color of the newly caught lobsters can be attributed to genetic defect that cause too much production of a particular protein.

The two-toned lobster was reportedly sent to local fisherman's wharf, Ship to Shore Lobster Co. It was later donated to the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.

Below is a capecast YouTube video of the blue lobster.

A 958-pound billfish, caught by Alexandra Nuttall, is expected to set a new blue marlin world record.

Nuttall was able to catch the giant blue marlin during during her third and final day of a trip to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii with her boyfriend, Nick Durham.

The Australian angler was on-board the 38-foot Monkey Biz II of Chip van Mols when she landed the towering 958-pound blue marlin. It reportedly took 90 minutes before Nuttall finally put aside the record setting blue marlin.

Maria Tomainia's 950-pound blue marlin, caught in December 1994, currently holds the International Game Fish Association(IGFA) women’s record for 130-pound-test.

In an interview with Nuttall, the angler explained that "It was without a doubt one of the most exhilarating things that I have ever done. I fish a lot back home in Australia with my boyfriend, Nick. Although I have caught many sharks, ono, and ahi here at home, I have spent the last few years chasing my elusive first marlin."

According to van Mols, Nuttall "was kind of in shock. We usually let our marlin go but we were prepared to take a fish if we knew it had a shot at a record. So we got our flying gaffs out."

Nuttall described her record breaking catch,
It was a task dragging a huge marlin like that through the [vessel's] back door with only four people, but we managed.

The feeling that we may have gotten the world record only sunk in on our way back to the harbor. I don’t remember ever feeling the sort of happiness that I was feeling at that point.

IGFA will determine in a few weeks if Nuttall will get a line-class world record.

Ever think of a safe place to hide during a great flood? Will there ever be a structure that can stand massive amount of water? Well, someone is preparing for the big thing.

A 500-foot replica of Noah's Ark is being constructed by Rodolfo Almira at a 5-acre lot in Miami-Dade County.

The three-story vessel, called "Hidden Ark," will have a shop, museum and zoo that will serve as a shelter for small animals that include chickens, goats, and pigs, among others. Almira is trying to raise awareness about the environment.

According to Almira, he was inspired to duplicate Noah's Ark after he witnessed how animals find it hard to get food and shelter after a disaster, like Hurricane Katrina.

Three of Almira's friends, Reniel Aguila, Osmar Oliva, and Manuel Guerra are providing assistance in building the Hidden Ark which started construction six months ago.

Donations for the project has reached $300,000. Total cost of building the ark may reach $1.5 million based on Almira's estimate. Timeline for the construction is two years.

Almira clarified that the ark will have "nothing to do with any specific religion." He added that "This isn't just for the community. It's for the entire world."

Building the replica is not easy for Almira's group. As of posting, they haven't secure a building and zoning permit. Almira already received three-$500 citations for the groups' violation.

Can this project really be completed? Will Almira's group overcome legal and budgetary issues? If you have any comments or any suggestions, shout it out in the comments section below this article.

Invention of 9-year-old Kenyan Boy wonder, Richard Turere (Video)

Who would ever think that a nine-year-old boy can create something that can protect the "King of the Jungle?" Typical children at this age maybe contented being in front of their pc, tablet, mobile phones or any other time wasting gadgets throughout the day.

However, Kenyan boy wonder, Richard Turere is one exemption. At his young age, he invented an automated system of moving lights as a shield against wild animals. Turere used electricity from solar panel and battery circuit to light up his invention.

It was used successfully to keep away lions from eating their family's livestock located just outside the Nairobi National Park.

According to Turere, he "grew up hating lions very much" but never thought of killing them. Instead, the Kenyan boy wonder created a device that can be used against the lion's weakness. The "King of the Jungle" is reportedly afraid of moving lights.

Turere, now a 13-year-old, was given a scholarship by the Brookhouse School, a top Kenyan school. The young inventor plans to take up engineering. His invention became known worldwide after he was invited as one of the speakers during the TED 2013 last February 26.

In the video below, Richard Turere explains his invention during TED 2013.

World's largest message in a bottle (Photo, Video)

How many times have we heard that someone found a message in a bottle along the coast line? However, no one has ever come up with the idea of using this as a marketing campaign for any product. Not yet until someone launched one last month.

A Norwegian softdrink manufacturer used the idea of creating the "world's largest message in a bottle" to uniquely promote their product. And this may not come cheap.

Solo softdrink floated a 26-foot, 2.5-ton bottle replica off the Tenerife coast last March. Contained inside the bottle is a 12-square meter letter.

Advertising agency Try/Apt Oslo is reportedly the brains behind the idea of the "world's largest message in a bottle."

The unmanned giant floating bottle features the beverage's notable neon-color. To automatically document its ocean journey, the behemoth bottle is equipped with cameras and a GPS that tweets its location on its Twitter account @solosoftdrink.

As of posting, the Solo bottle is making its voyage in the Atlantic.

Solo CEO, Joakim Sand, explained that,
It's impossible to tell how long the voyage will last, hopefully we will not end up breaking the Captain Brown record for the oldest message in a bottle—it roamed the sea for 97 years and 309 days.

Below is a video of Solo's "world's largest message in a bottle."

What is your take on Solo's marketing campaign? Will this not affect the sea creatures that it will come across its voyage? Will this appeal environmentalist? Let your voice be heard by providing your comments below this article.
