A giant yellow rubber duck started floating in the busy Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong on Thursday, May 4, 2013. The free public art will be on display at the harbor until June 9.
When inflated, the giant rubber duck reportedly reaches a height of 16.5 meters (54 feet). It was designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.
The giant art display was a welcome addition in the Hong Kong harbor and has attracted thousands of visitors in the area. It added a good view alongside the city skyline.
This giant rubber duck has floated in several cities around the world. It was previously displayed in the waters of Osaka, Sydney, Sao Paolo and Amsterdam.
