Floyd Mayweather Jr. easily won over Saul Canelo Alvarez at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, September 15, 2013.

It was a total domination for Mayweather as he outboxed the 23-year-old Alvarez during the entire 12 rounds.

Mayweather was in complete control with his defensive prowess and negated Alvarez offense.

The American boxer used his speed and pinpoint jabs to beat Alvarez. Mayweather improved his unblemished record to 45-0. Alvarez on the other hand, suffered his first loss of his boxing career.

To the surprise of everyone, Judge C.J. Ross scored the fight with a 114-114 draw. Two other judges however scored the fight 116-112 and 117-111 for Mayweather.

Ross is the same judge who gave a controversial score during the Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley match. Luckily for Mayweather, his bout against Alvarez was never really close.
