Memphis Grizzlies Leads OKC Thunder, 2-1

The Memphis Grizzlies beat Oklahoma City Thunder, 87-81, during Game 3 of the 2013 NBA Western Conference semifinal on Saturday night at FedExForum, Memphis, TN. Grizzlies now leads the best-of-seven series, 2-1.


Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 20 points and nine rebounds. Tony Allen and Mike Conley contributed 14 points apiece. Zach Randolph helped in clearing the boards and led Memphis with 10 rebounds.

Kevin Durant had a game-high 25 points to carry the offensive load for the Thunder. However, he missed two consecutive free-throws with just 39.3 seconds in the game. Durant only scored two points in the final quarter. Reggie Jackson added 16 points while Kevin Martin and Serge Ibaka scored 13 points each.

Memphis led by as much as 10 points over the Oklahoma City and kept their unbeaten record at home in the postseason.

It was a not so nice victory for Memphis though. The Thunder out-rebounded the Grizzlies, 51-44. OKC had more points inside the paint against the Memphis, 44-30.
